A Massachusetts man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a 3-year-old New York girl after sending photos of the abuse to an undercover investigator with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas.
According to reports, 30-year-old Michael McCann of Haverhill, Mass. came into contact with an undercover investigator with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. During discussions, which started in January 2017, McCann said he would be “interested” in traveling to Arkansas to engage in sexual contact with an underage child.

Then in April, McCann claimed he recently sexually abused a 3-year-old that he described as a family member. He provided what he called “good pics” of the sexual contact and said he had more photos of the encounter. McCann then sent a phot of himself with the girl and was babysitting her for the weekend.

The Eagle Tribune reports that defrocked and formerly jailed ex-priest Ronald Paquin, who was assigned to parishes in Haverhill and Methuen, will be held without bail on a fugitive from justice charge until late next week.

Paquin, 74, was arrested on Wednesday in Boston after a grand jury in York County, Maine, handed down an indictment on 29 new sexual abuse and misconduct charges against him.

Friday at his arraignment in Roxbury District Court, Paquin was held without bail and waived rendition proceedings.

His alleged victim is a local man who says he was 14 years old at the time of the incident in 2010.

Matthew Feeney pleaded not guilty to the new charge of child rape and two counts indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.

A man wanted in Massachusetts for allegedly raping a child was arrested Tuesday in the town of Austerlitz, New York, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

Zachary Santoro, 28, was arrested on a warrant at his home on Rapp Road, deputies said.

The arrest was part of a joint investigation between the Massachusetts State Police and sheriff’s office investigators assigned to the Special Victims Unit.

A Massachusetts court officer has been held on a $50,000 bail after he was accused of sexually assaulting a female prisoner on multiple occasions while escorting her through Lawrence District Court.

Jose Martinez was arraigned at Essex Superior Court in Salem on four counts of rape, six counts of indecent assault and battery, and single counts of assault with intent to rape as well as misleading investigators, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Martinez raped the victim in a holding cell, a prisoner elevator, and a stairwell at the courthouse on three separate occasions in 2009 and 2014 while the she was in custody on drug and fugitive from justice charges.

A foreman with the Wayland Department of Public Works is facing child rape charges for reportedly assaulting a girl several times beginning when she was 5 years old, the Middlesex district attorney’s office said, as reported by the Boston Globe.

Donald Gladu, 59, of Framingham, raped the girl multiple times between 1998 and 2006, District Attorney Marian T. Ryan’s office said in a statement.

Gladu was arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court on four counts of rape of a child by force and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14, according to Ryan’s office.

The Boston Globe reports that a respected special education school teacher at a Boston public school was placed on paid leave, following his arrest for a highly public sex act in South Station’s busy concourse on Patriots Day.

About 7:15 p.m. on April 20, witnesses alerted MBTA Transit officers that Thomas L. Gould, 37, was allegedly performing the act on a man at a table, said Lieutenant Detective Richard Sullivan of the Transit police.

The men appeared to be intoxicated and were visible to men, women, and children, he said. They were also being recorded by security cameras, he said.

The Boston Globe reports that a Boston Uber driver was indicted on charges that he allegedly kidnapped and raped a female passenger in December, according to authorities.

Alejandro Done, 46, is charged with kidnapping, three counts of aggravated rape, and two counts of assault and battery, the office of Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan said. An arraignment date has not yet been set.

The Lowell Sun reports that disturbing new allegations have emerged in a human-trafficking case in which a prosecutor says a Lowell man — who is a member of a notorious street gang — had only been out of prison for several weeks when he plied a vulnerable 13-year-old girl with drugs and alcohol, raped her, and then sold her sexual services to more than five other men.

During a dangerousness hearing on Tuesday in Lowell District Court, prosecutor Megan Williams alleges that in October, 23-year-old Michael Feliz, of Lowell, was released after spending three years in prison for armed robbery.

By early November, Feliz had befriended a “vulnerable” 13-year-old girl, supplied her with heroin, cocaine and alcohol, raped her, and then “passed her around,” selling her sexual services to brothers Angel Alicia, 24, and Michael Alicea, 18, both of Lowell.

A sex offender from Boston with a lengthy criminal record is set to appear in court on new charges accusing him of raping a relative’s 10-year-old daughter while taking her to a summer youth program.

Forty-nine-year-old Erroll Foreman, of Dorchester, was to be arraigned Tuesday in Dorchester District Court on charges including child rape and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. A judge has revoked his bail.

A report by Boston police says Foreman picked up the girl at her home Thursday morning to drive her to the youth program and raped her on the way. The girl told authorities that Foreman assaulted her and threatened to kill her and her family if she told anyone.
